Sobre la Manga

La Manga del Mar Menor is an extraordinary 22km long strip of land between two seas and the sky. Here, we find a unique microclimate and incredible landscapes. The average temperature is 22 degrees Celsius, so we get more than 300 days of sunshine every year and very little rain!

The Mar Menor, which means "smaller sea", in contrast to the large Mediterranean Sea, is the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe and well known for the healing power of its waters, mud and clay, since ancient times. The mud of the Mar Menor helps against skin diseases, rheumatism, arthritis and supports the rehabilitation of fractures. You can take mud baths for free or visit a thalassotherapy centre while on holiday.

In addition, there are also perfect conditions to practise all types of water sports including windsurfing, kite-surf, sailing and diving. Our white sandy beaches by the Mediterranean are perfect to relax or go for a swim.

La Manga is a fantastic holiday resort with modern hotels, holiday homes and tourism facilities. While in summer it has lively nightlife, during the cooler seasons La Manga is a quiet and relaxing resort with a pleasant climate.

We can provide accommodation or book a range of exciting or relaxing activities for our students during their stay, on request.
